I gladly welcome all of you to this enriching website of Sri Sri Aniruddhadeva Sports University (SASU), Chabua, which I am sure will serve as an essential interactive tool for all of you to acquaint yourselves with the mission and vision of the university. This university is the testimony of the commitment of the Government of Assam in creating a world class knowledge sharing platform in sports.

This university is the first ever government initiative in Assam dedicated to the cause of sports education. This university is the manifestation of the aspirations of the people of Assam for creating a state-of-the-art learning platform and cutting-edge research podium which I am sure will herald an effective model to trigger positive changes in the sports ecosystem of our state.

Though sports is a single entity, it is essentially multi-dimensional in nature influencing positive growth in every segment of the society including the humanity at large. I hope, Sri Sri Aniruddhadeva Sports University located at Chabua in the backdrop of sprawling tea gardens of the world-famous Assam tea will create a potential platform for meeting practice and preparation with opportunities.
